An invitation written directly on the pane of glass over the exhibition space looking in, backwards looking out. Tape hiss escapes like steam through the gap in the door, open just a crack. Streetlights paint abstract and dazzling shapes into the lens of a handheld DV camera on a stumbling walk through Crystal Palace. A workspace is hidden by a 1:1 scale painting of itself. Taking poetic artworks that are neither poems nor written texts as a starting point, the selected artists present encounters, invocations, slippages, and secrets for visitors to discover.
