The Queen's Park Nomadic Gardens Winter Festival Exhibition
Queen's Park Nomadic Gardens
16th December 2017 - 3rd February 2018
curated by Josh Philpott, Florence Goodhand-Tait, Daniel Rockman, and Rishil Parekh

The Nomadic Gardens Winter Festival Exhibition is a chance to celebrate the Nomadic Gardens by exhibiting artwork that has responded to the unique space. Queen’s Park Nomadic Garden is a DIY social space built amongst the urban sprawl of North West London. It is frequented by locals and their children who have formed a small, friendly community that helps maintain the garden, participate in arts activities, or simply hang out. Organised by Daniel Rockman and Rishil Parekh, it’s run by anyone who can contribute a skill, be it building, gardening, cooking, or anything else. Many artists have contributed murals to the garden walls, and held inclusive workshops in the space.

This exhibition is dedicated to Paulo Sousa, a dear friend and wonderful artist who was to contribute his work to the show, but very sadly and unexpectedly passed away. He is sorely missed and fondly remembered.
