Josh Philpott stages interventions within various spaces in public and exhibition contexts by inserting disharmonious objects or recording environmental elements in liminal spaces, often encountered by the artist while walking or commuting during his day-to-day life. His practice commonly manifests as drawings, poetry […] and sound art among other things inserted into atypical situations to be encountered by viewers, mirroring the artist’s encounters with his source material.
